These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through www.voltschmie.com. By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed the applicable product information and these terms.
1. Orders and Contract
Products displayed on the website are offered subject to availability. An order is placed when the customer submits the order through the website and completes the applicable payment process.
Order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
We reserve the right to contact the customer where information necessary to process an order is incomplete or requires clarification.
2. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 working days after payment has been confirmed.
After processing, the order is prepared for dispatch using the applicable delivery service.
3. Delivery
Orders are delivered to customers in European markets using services such as DHL, FedEx and UPS Priority.
The standard delivery period is approximately 5–10 working days after dispatch. Actual delivery may depend on the destination and the applicable carrier route.
Tracking information is sent automatically to the email address provided at checkout at relevant stages of the delivery process, including dispatch, arrival at a logistics point and local delivery where tracking information is available.
Customers should ensure that the email address provided during checkout is accurate and accessible.
4. Delayed or Missing Deliveries
Where an order exceeds the standard delivery period, we may initiate an enquiry with the relevant carrier to establish the status of the shipment.
Following the outcome of the carrier enquiry and the circumstances of the individual order, we may provide a full refund or a replacement shipment, as applicable.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
5. Risk of Loss or Damage
For consumer purchases, the risk of accidental loss or accidental damage does not pass to the customer merely when the goods are handed to the carrier.
Where we arrange delivery to the customer, the risk passes in accordance with the applicable mandatory consumer rules when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
This provision does not limit any statutory rights available to consumers.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, consumers have the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
For the purchase of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, receives the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must clearly communicate the decision to withdraw by email or another permitted form of communication within the applicable withdrawal period.

The statutory rules concerning the return of goods, reimbursement and any applicable return costs apply to the withdrawal process.
7. Refunds Following Withdrawal

The reimbursement will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless another method has been expressly agreed and does not result in additional costs for the customer.
Where permitted by applicable law, reimbursement may be withheld until the goods have been returned or the customer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.
8. Damaged or Defective Goods
If goods arrive damaged or a product has a defect, the customer should contact us by email at tools@voltschmie.com and provide the order number together with clear photographs showing the relevant issue.
For goods that arrive damaged, photographs may be sufficient for us to assess the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a refund or replacement without requiring the damaged item to be returned.
Where required by applicable law, statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
The applicable statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or withdrawal from the contract, depending on the circumstances and the requirements of applicable law.
